| DAF Rods, I have just returned from my 1st long range trip (10 day) aboard the Royal Polaris. Using a daf rod made from a seeker blank, I won the jackpot with a 200lb yellow fin tuna. The reel was a Penn 50W with 80lb blue Izorline and a 5/0 Mutu hook. The beast ate a 2lb mackerel and took about an hour to subdue. I'm astonished how much punishment that rod with stood through the battle. |
